
La Crosse Man Gets 97-Month Sentence for Child Pornography
T Madison, Wis. - John W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Nicolai D. Quinn, 34, La Crosse, Wis., was sentenced on May 11, 2012 by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to 97 months in prison, to be followed by a life term of supervised release, for possession of child pornography. Quinn pled guilty to this charge on March 2, 2012.
On September 9, 2009, FBI agents executed a search warrant at Quinn's La Crosse business where several computers were found. The FBI conducted a forensic examination of these computers and found child pornography.
The charges against Quinn were the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy M. O'Shea.
